BEST STREET TACOS IN CHATTANOOGA. I have been trying to find the best ones in the Chattanooga area and just found this place recently. Jalisco was it, this place takes the lead. Extremely friendly staff as well.

Locally owned, family run, authentic Mexican food….with the added bonus of serving healthy fresh fruit based drinks and smoothies. They give Friendly service with a smile! And the food is delicious! I wish I had discovered this gem when they first opened a few years ago. This is not to be confused with the Mexican Restaurant that was in this location 10+years ago.

We were recently coming back from a trip to Mexico City, Puebla and Taxco and heading for Atlanta when we stunned to stumble onto this place which, as the name indicates, is really owned by a lovely family from Taxco, the beautiful silver city in the highlands of Guerrero. We had two great burritos, one carnitas, the other carne asada. Both were delicious and had generous portions of juicy meat and thoughtfully prepared and presented.

This place is so good! The woman who greeted us was so kind and sweet, you can tell she loves her job! The berry smoothie was AMAZING and the cheese dip was 10/10. Normally I don't eat salsa but it was so fresh, it was the best salsa I've had. It's so clean and homey on the inside too! I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Went here on my lunch break last night, and the lady at the front was the sweetest. I already planned to write a review because of how amiable she was, and then I saw this little sticker on my plate. She answered all of my questions and was very attentive. I got the Enchiladas George, which I've never had before, and it was delicious. They were fast and it was fresh. I ordered it to go, so I didn't really look throughout the restaurant, but it looked more spacious on the inside and they played different music from what you typically hear. Next time I want to try their juice!

While driving from Chicago, I found this great Gem! family-owned Mexican restaurant. The food was fresh, flavorful, and the place was exceptionally clean. What made it even better was the warm, genuine hospitality. As someone used to Chicago’s top-notch food scene, I can confidently say this spot is worth the stop. Great quality, even better service. Highly recommend!

Service was excellent. Keep in mind, this is a small place and it may be a bit slower at busy times. Food is better & more interesting than your typical Mexican/ South American restaurant. Menu is excellent with a wide variety of choices. About a min away from the highway, so it's an easy stop during transit (*not fast-food). For some authentic South of the border food, it's worth the extra 20min drive from Chattanooga.
